Well friends...
The Summer book has been out for a month now, and I'm barely getting the website updated. I'm getting slower!
Also, we have three new patterns that we introduced at Spring Market in Minneapolis. We just picked up the front covers from the printers yesterday...so they're ready to go.
Melon lane is all about curves! ***But, don't fear...they're simple curves.*** The blocks are a drunkard's path block (but they're HUGE...so the curves aren't too intimidating.) There are watermelons set into the border and the binding even has fun scallops. You'll love putting this fun curvy quilt together.
Indiana Avenue was designed by Brenda for a Shop Hop in Indiana...(we're so creative when naming our patterns aren't we?? ha ha!) She designed nine parts because there are nine shops in the hop, but we compiled them all into one super fun pattern that could be made from any variety of fabrics! My favorite is the bird!!
LuLu's YoYos came about because my five-year-old niece, Lucy, felt bad that none of our quilts has ever had anything to do with her. We have an "Autumn's Apples" (that's her little sister) and her older brother and sister are featured in the picture on "Game Day". I told her that I would make one and name it after her. Since I call her LuLu...voila...that's what it was named. The giant yo-yos make super fun flowers when paired with the jumbo rick rack that is so popular right now.
